It's hard to watch this ep. I have to stop half way yesterday and watch the rest now(the next day). I love Ussop but his cowardice is just too much in this episode.

I know right, if I were in his place I would've been scared to death, he's actually quite brave than he gives himself or anyone else gives him credit for. Although lying is bad, he just did what he could to save himself, sometimes you have put yourself before others.

why tf are you comparing us to him lol. Dude went on a 2 year training arc. Been to a lot more dangerous adventure and he still wimp out like the first few episodes. Normally i just turn a blind eye to his character cuz his cowardice dont directly affect anyone but this? Characters are dying left and right, the heart of the whole operation is up to him and the first thing in mind is to run away? We're almost reaching 700 episode and usopp character barely had any changes, he still the same coward right when he was introduced.

For those who are new to op, yea we had every right to piss on him cuz he was shit. Things might change later on but it will never change the fact that he was a shit character.

Things still haven't changed much in Wano, yet I stand by what I said. I believe Usopp will become THE man when he finally steps foot on Elbaf. Droggy and Broggy are what convinced him to continue into the grand line and Enies Lobby. And he REALLY admired them (trust me I've rewatch thrice now), so I think Oda is saving Usopp's manliness until then. I'd say it's poor writing, but it is what it is...
